Bali 1-week Itinerary

Glorious Bali Island, home of 1000 temples, is getting more and more tourists each year. My parents and I decided to go have a look and I must say, I understand the reason why. The Balinese people are very friendly; they always ask you how you are feeling. In the beginning, this was a bit weird for us, but in the end, we started to ask questions back, because we also wanted to learn more about them. Our tour in Bali went as follows. Ready, set, go!

Sanur and Tabanan

Exploring the beaches of Sanur, watching the Barong dance, and visiting Tanah Lot is already quite the adventure but the UNESCO rice fields of Jatiluwih are just breathtaking.

Pura Ulun Danu Beratan in bedugul, indonesia, asia

You can see the Ulun Danu Temple surrounded by water, you can visit the Candi Kuning fruit market, do some Monkey business and enjoy the swings at Buyan and Tamblingan Lake. We also visited Munduk Moding Plantation that has one hell of an infinity pool!

Spotting dolphins in Lovina is quite an adventure but also a shame. We’ve also seen a sunrise (must do), visited Singaraja City, the Sekumpul Waterfalls and the panoramic view of Mount Batur in one day.

IN Ubud you should visit the Tegalalang rice fields, the Goa Gajah temple, and the Klungkung Palace. In Candidasa, you need to visit the traditional salt mining process, the Goa Lawah temple, and Tenganan Pegringsingan.

Take the ferry

When staying in Bali and you have a couple of days left, you can easily take the ferry to the Gili Islands, Lombok or the Nusa islands. We did all three of them, and I can only recommend it.
