HOTEL REVIEW Swiss-Belresort Watujimbar

My parents and I stayed at the Swiss-Belresort Watujimbar for 2 nights (July).  The hotel is located in Sanur. Here is my hotel review of Swiss-Belresort Watujimbar.

Reception

The reception is the first thing you’ll encounter. It’s open and you can see the swimming pool from it. On arrival, we had the pleasure of receiving a welcome drink and a cold towel. They don’t have a luggage room which we found a bit shady, but nothing happened. The service was top, very friendly people.

Restaurant & Breakfast

The restaurant and breakfast share the same room. It’s on the other side of the large swimming pool. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel because the hotel is located in a street filled with restaurants where you can eat Balinese, American and European dishes. Breakfast was superb: noodles, rice, cornflakes, toast, fruit, coffee, and juices.

Bedroom

The bedroom is quite spacious. We had a desk with a chair, a minibar (with 1 bottle pp for free), and even a jacuzzi on the balcony! The first time we had a room with a jacuzzi. So we spend every evening in the jacuzzi haha!

The bathroom was modern but sometimes the draining wasn’t working (toilet not flushing or the Jacuzzi water not draining).

Fun fact: There is shampoo and body wash available.  

Swimming pool

The swimming pool is very large! But there were some problems. At the beginning of July, there were a lot of chairs available at the swimming pool. 2 weeks later we revisited the hotel and there were no chairs left. Some people had to sit on the side of the swimming pool due to the lack of chairs. Some chairs were also broken. The ground around the swimming pool also consists of wooden planks. Watch your step because some planks are loose.

Fun fact: You have a part where the chairs lay in the lower swimming pool!

Sad Fact: When your chair was broken you would literally sit in the water which is not that comfortable.

Beach

The hotel is a 10-minutes walk away from the beach. The hotel also has a segment of that beach claimed. If you’d want a chair, you’ll have to reserve one 1 day in advance. If you were too late, like us, you can just bring your towel and sit on the sand!

So this was my Hotel Review of Swiss-Belresort Watujimbar. I hope I have given you a better look at the hotel.
