Reykjavik 6-day itinerary | Iceland
Reykjavik is the perfect place if you want to discover a bit of Iceland with guided tours or with self-drive! Here is my Reykjavik itinerary!

Reykjavik Itinerary
Below is my 6-day itinerary – on both Thursdays we had our flights. We started on Friday with the Sky Lagoon, Perlan Museum, & Hallgrímskirkja church. On Saturday we did the Golden Circle day tour. Sunday we shopped at Laugavegur Street, Rainbow Street, Reykjavik’s old and new marina, did the Reykjavik flyover, and ate the Icelandic hot dog. In the evening we went to see the New Year’s Eve Fireworks show. On Monday we did the whale watching tour. On Tuesday we did the South Coast of Iceland day tour (we recommend at least 2 days here and not to rush it in one day). As the last full day on Wednesday, we did some shopping, walked in the park, walked around the marina bay, and went on a Northern Lights tour (and saw them!!).
Sad Fact: Blue Lagoon was still closed due to the volcano eruption at Grindavik. Otherwise, we would have done it on Wednesday.

1-day guided tour: Golden Circle
1-day guided tour: South coast of Iceland

And there you have it, a full Reykjavik 6-day travel itinerary with its spectacular waterfalls, black sand beaches, national parks, glaciers, hot springs, and marine life! This is officially the best trip that I’ve had so far!
