Faro has lots of places to visit; the medieval cathedral, the Ria Formosa lagoon, the airport of Faro, the 3 gates, the bone chapel, pego do Inferno, Estoi and the ruins of Milreu.
Portimão (Benagil cave), Portugal
Must do near Portimão? Benagil cave! This cave has its own beach and is characterized by a hole in the ceiling.
Silves and Monchique, Portugal
Both Silves and Monchique can be done together in one day. The fort of Silves is beautiful to behold and the water in Monchique is not that special, but the view on Mount Foia is amazing.
