Blue River | Canada
Honestly, Blue River has nothing to do except for the bear cruise. Luckily Mount Robson Provincial Park and Clearwater are only a 1-hours drive away from Blueriver.
1) Bear Cruise
Normally we would have had an extra day in Clearwater but due to hotel problems, we had to change and stay 1 night in Blue River. Turns out Blue River has NOTHING to do except this expensive bear cruise. The bear cruise guarantees that you’ll see a bear. In our case, we already saw 6 bears at that point and decided we didn’t want to spend $200 dollars on a bear cruise. I think if I hadn’t seen bears at that point I would have done it. But yeah we already saw some bears and decided to keep the money for other stuff like a rafting or whale tour.
So nothing to do in Blue River, but luckily we did some stops on our way to Blue River:
Mount Robson Provincial Park
1) Fraser river
Fraser River is the longest river in British Columbia (1.375 km) and the 11th longest in Canada.
2) Visitor Center Mount Robson
From the visitor center, you’ll have a beautiful view over Mount Robson. Our view was a bit clouded but it was still beautiful.
3) Overlander Falls
500 meters from the parking, Overlander Falls can be found. We didn’t do this one but it is surely a possibility for you!
4) Rearguard Falls
300 meters from the Parking, you’ll find Rearguard Falls. This is the farthest point that salmon will swim up to. You can see these salmons at the end of August, beginning of September.
5) Clearwater
Luckily Clearwater has more to do, so we spent our afternoon chasing Moul Falls.

So yeah my recommendation is to not stay the night in Blue River. Instead drive further to Clearwater to stay there for an extra night.
