Qatar Travel Guide

Best things to do, itineraries & tips

Qatar is a country in Asia on the Arabian Peninsula. It’s surrounded by the Persian Gulf and Saudi Arabia. Qatar has a population of 2.6 million people. For Europeans, it’s the perfect location to catch a connecting flight to Asia. For my travels to Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, I had a short stopover in Doha. One of those stopovers turned into a 7-hour stopover as our first flight had a delay. This gave me a chance to see a bit of Doha, and it made me want to see more!
