HOTEL REVIEW d’Nusa Resort & Beach Club ****
My parents and I stayed at the d’Nusa Resort & Beach Club for 2 nights (July). The hotel has its own beach and restaurant. Here is my hotel review of the d’Nusa Resort & Beach Club
This 4-star resort is located on the north of Lembongan. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a beach, a restaurant, a bar, a gym, free Wifi, and a spa.
Reception
On arrival, we had to jump out of the boat, take our luggage on our back and walk through the water to reach the beach. After that, a small jeep will pick you up and bring you to the hotel. The reception is the first thing you’ll encounter. It has a cozy lounge.
Fun Fact: The hotel offers a panoramic tour that takes you to the devil’s tear, dream beach, and a panoramic viewpoint.
Restaurant & Breakfast
The breakfast is right above the restaurant. The breakfast is a buffet where you can eat eggs, cornflakes, or just bread. Eat your breakfast outside on the terrace to enjoy a beautiful view over Bali and the sea. The restaurant is not included in the price but is nice when you’re spending your day in the hotel.
Bedroom
The bedroom is quite spacious. We had a desk with a chair, a minibar, another tiny table with two lounge chairs, a giant shower, a bathtub, a large closet, and a terrace with access to a private pool (shared by those other chambers who had access).
Warning: The pool is ice cold! It isn’t heated and the sun doesn’t reach the pool during the day.
Warning: If you book a chamber for 3 persons, you’ll get a chamber for 2 persons where they’ll put a mattress on the ground (even though you’ve paid for 3 grown-ups).
Swimming pool
The swimming pool at the d’Nusa Resort was ok! It’s small in comparison to the other hotels that I’ve stayed in but you’re able to swim in it which is most important! There are pool towels and sun loungers available.
Fun fact: There is a swing at the beach of d’Nusa Resort.
Beach
Well, the beach is rather disappointing. On our first day, it looked clean but the day after was something different! The sea was wild and a lot of garbage washed up on the shores. We witnessed how “beach cleaners” would gather the garbage, dig a hole, put the garbage in the hole and filling it up with sand. Well sorry to break it to you, but that is not how you clean a beach.
So this was my Hotel Review of d’nusa Resort & Beach Club. I hope I have given you a better look at the hotel.
